Ali is one of the founding members of the Gala movement.
By day, she is a well-respected events professional with over 9 years in the industry. By night, she is Abigail. A rosè-loving, last girl standing, tropical cyclone.
Be sure to stick close to Ali at this year’s event and you’re in for a whirlwind adventure.
Graham is the Scottish expat who joined the committee in 2016. His notable contribution last year was convincing a handsome kilted Scotsman to be auctioned to the highest bidder only to be disappointed when he got out-bidded!
When not planning Gala he can be found out and about in Clapham or Fulham with a Hendricks and tonic in hand.
This Aussie physio import might have some impressive hand skills, but none more so than pouring the perfect beer. After working in events and bars during university, ensuring everyone is well watered at a party is his life forte.
His extraordinary Pilates skills bolster his dance floor moves and all challengers are welcome. But prepare to chasse away.
Martin is a Londoner born and bred, but loves to travel and doesn’t mind how, after completing London to Paris cycle for Cancer Research last year. Enjoys getting stuck in to books and recently read “Yes Man” and now willing to give anything a go…once. Martin was once a guest to GOTG last year and it was awesome, so he’s now super excited to be involved and getting his hands dirty behind the scenes (if that means chilling and drinking cocktails).
Jimmy makes a living as a Product Director (whatever that is).
If he’s not chasing old Everton players around London, he’s chasing a pint with an anal bead.
Watch out for Jimmy as the night gets long; his accent gets longer.
Soph grew up on Anglesey, a welsh island off the mainland's northwest coast, near to the longest town name in Europe. Ask nicely and she’ll happily pronounce it for you!
Gin enthusiast, avo lover and crazy dancing queen, Soph works in events and also owns a social events and dating business, which operates in both Sydney and London. Her biggest passion is bringing people together, so it goes without saying that event and party planning is not just a job for her, regularly playing host and chief organiser for friends and family. Having previously been a guest at the Gala, she can’t wait to get stuck into the organising this year and support such an important cause.
Jess originally hails from Brisbane, Australia. Professionally: Jess works in organisational change consulting. Personally: She adores road trips, winning board games, and sipping the foam off a chocolate dusted cappuccino. Having been a guest at the Gala in previous years, Jess is now relishing the opportunity to be on the committee helping to plan the night of all nights!
